Top Tools Apps Performance in Hungary - Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the tools apps category in Hungary saw significant activity across both iOS and Android platforms. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Digitális Állampolgár from IdomSoft Zrt. demonstrated a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 41K at the beginning of October and peaking at approximately 71K in mid-December. The app's weekly active users also rose significantly from 72K to over 303K by the end of the year.

Google Authenticator maintained a steady increase in downloads, starting from 9.3K in early October to over 50K by the end of December. Active users showed a fluctuating trend, beginning at 191K and reaching a high of 416K in the last week of December.

Authenticator App - SafeAuth experienced a steady climb in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 3.3K to nearly 18K, while active users increased from 11K to about 45K by year-end. The app's revenue peaked at $163 in the first week of December.

NISZ Hitelesítő saw a consistent rise in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 4K and reaching nearly 40K in the final week of December. Active users also increased significantly, starting at 20K and peaking at 134K.

Finally, Telekom showed stable download numbers, peaking at 11K in early December. Active users exhibited variability, with a notable rise back to 626K by the end of the quarter.
